1996–1999: Engineering Foundations

Prashant began his career as an engineer in the automotive and industrial sectors, working on design, development, and manufacturing challenges at DCM Engineering Products, LML Limited, and Axis Computers. These early years built the technical foundation that shaped his analytical approach to problem-solving and systems thinking.

1999–2005: Engineering Software & PLM

Prashant joined Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), one of the world’s leading PLM and engineering software companies. Over six years, he worked in application engineering, manufacturing consulting, and later channel development—guiding enterprises in adopting technology-driven product development solutions.

In 2005, Prashant took over the engineering business at Hi-Tech e Soft. Over the next decade, he transformed it from a small cost center into a 400-member, multi-location product design and engineering operation serving global and domestic OEMs. His leadership spanned P&L management, strategy, sales, delivery, and organizational development.

Under NSS, Shoppeboard – the procurement consolidation platform was built, that today serves 200+ enterprise clients with stability, transparency, and frugality-led operations. The company grew steadily through frugality-first operations, transparent processes, and strong customer relationships—earning recognition as Startup of the Year in 2016.
